SSU and Defense Forces drones strike tanker and port infrastructure in Tuapse

Unmanned aerial vehicles of the “A” Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, operating jointly with other Security and Defense Forces, struck a tanker and the loading infrastructure of the oil terminal at the Tuapse Commercial Sea Port in Russia’s Krasnodar region.

A source within the SSU reported this to Ukrinform.

“Five drone impacts have been confirmed. As a result of the strikes, a tanker caught fire, and at least four oil loading stands used for tanker loading and unloading were disabled. Port facilities were also damaged,” the statement said.

The Tuapse port hosts an oil terminal and an oil refinery owned by the Rosneft company.

“The Security Service continues to strike the oil refining infrastructure of the Russian Federation, which supplies the enemy with resources for its aggression against Ukraine. As long as the war continues, explosions at Russian oil refineries will keep burning brightly,” an informed SSU source noted.
