Injury toll in Russia’s artillery strike on Kherson rises to nine, two killed

The number of people injured in the artillery strike on the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson has risen to nine, while two civilians were killed.

Ukrinform reports this, citing the Kherson City Military Administration (CMA) on Telegram.

“Another Kherson resident has been hospitalized following the enemy artillery attack on the Dniprovskyi district around 11:00,” the report stated.

The 73-year-old woman sustained a concussion, explosive, and closed traumatic brain injury while inside her apartment at the time of the attack.

Earlier, the CMA reported eight civilians injured in the same strike. Among them were two men, aged 51 and 48, who suffered concussions and explosive-related injuries and received immediate medical care; they will continue treatment on an outpatient basis.

Additionally, two women, aged 62 and 63, were hospitalized with explosive and shrapnel injuries to their legs, and another 63-year-old woman sustained a concussion, explosive injuries, and eye trauma.
