Drone attack on Sumy: Victim toll climbs to 15, including four children

Fifteen people, including four children, were injured in Sumy as a result of a Russian attack with strike drones on the evening of Thursday, October 30.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Sumy region police on Telegram.

The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure, including a gas station, a railway station, an oxygen station, a diesel locomotive, a dormitory, private homes, and three multi-story residential buildings. In addition, four cars were damaged.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported on Telegram that the attack took place at around 10:30 p.m.

Initially, 11 victims, including children, sought help. A 14-year-old girl was hospitalized.

Her life is not in danger — doctors provided the necessary assistance and are monitoring the child's condition.

For people whose homes were damaged, a temporary shelter was organized at the Point of Invincibility during the night. Psychologists are working there.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the enemy strike damaged the passenger depot, destroying part of the utility rooms and carriages. The Sumy-Kyiv train departed on schedule with a replacement crew.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of October 31, the Russian army attacked railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
