Russians attack railway infrastructure in two regions
On the night of October 31, the Russian army attacked railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia JSC on Telegram.
“In Sumy, the enemy struck a passenger depot, damaging and destroying other company facilities and rolling stock. Replacement cars were quickly provided to transport passengers on train No. 779/780 from Sumy to Kyiv. The train departed on schedule,” the report said.
In addition, railway infrastructure in the Lozova area was damaged, and train No. 228/227 Husarivka-Ivano-Frankivsk is running on a modified route.
The company is doing everything it can to reduce the delay, according to Ukrzaliznytsia.
It is noted that all employees moved to shelter in time, so there were no casualties.
As reported by Ukrinform, due to heavy shelling on October 24, train traffic is disrupted in three regions: Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, and Sumy.
