Kherson hospital shelling: Victim toll climbs to nine, including four children
Nine people were injured in Kherson as a result of Russian shelling of a children's hospital, including four children and three medical workers.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
“According to the investigation, on October 29, 2025, at around 9:20 a.m., the enemy opened artillery fire on a children's hospital in Kherson, where young patients, their parents, and medical staff were at the time,” the statement said.
According to preliminary data, nine people were injured as a result of the shelling, including four children and three medical workers. Information on the number of victims is being clarified.
The hospital building was significantly damaged, and the blast wave damaged nearby structures.
A pre-trial investigation into the war crime has been launched. The prosecutor's office emphasizes that the shelling of civilian objects, in particular healthcare facilities, is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russians attacked a medical facility in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring three employees and a child.
