Injury toll from Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia district rises to two

The number of people injured in a Russian strike on the Zaporizhzhia district has increased to two.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post seen by Ukrinform.

"Two people have already been injured – the number of victims of the enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia district is growing," Fedorov wrote.

He noted that men aged 44 and 62 sustained injuries and are receiving all necessary medical assistance.

According to the regional governor, a Russian aerial bomb hit near a residential building, partially destroying the house and damaging outbuildings. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze.

As reported earlier, a fire broke out in a private house in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region following a Russian airstrike. At first, authorities reported one injured person.
