One injured as Russian forces strike critical, social infrastructure in Kherson
Russian troops targeted critical and social infrastructure in the Kherson region on October 26, wounding one person.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Throughout the day, the settlements of Antonivka, Blahovishchenske, Naddniprianske, Sadove, Honcharne, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Darivka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Fedorivka, Beryslav, Ukrainka, Novoraisk, Kostyrka, Monastyrske, Charivne, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Tiahynka, Vysoke, Mykolaivka, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Mylove, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson came under enemy drone attacks, airstrikes, and artillery shelling.
Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure facilities and residential areas across the region, damaging eight apartment buildings and 19 private houses.
The occupiers also destroyed an outbuilding, private garages, vehicles, and a gas pipeline. The gas leak has been contained, and there is currently no threat of fire.
As a result of Russian aggression, one person was injured.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of October 25, a 59-year-old man in Kherson was injured when a munition dropped by a Russian drone exploded.
