Oil depot in Hvardiiske, Crimea, flares up with new force

In the village of Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea, the ATAN oil depot, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones on October 17, ignited with new force.

This was reported by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

"ATAN oil base in the village of Hvardiiske burned up with new force... Yesterday at lunch, it was smoking a little; the burning tank was watered by three firetrucks. This morning, the burning is much more intense, a large plume of smoke is observed", the message says.

It is noted that that night in Hvardiiske, a flyby of drones was heard, the Russian air defense system was working, and 5-6 explosions rang out.

"It is not known whether the oil depot itself burned down or whether it was helped by good drones", the post said.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of October 17, Crimea was attacked by drones, and an oil depot was on fire in Hvardiiske. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed new strikes on an oil depot and military targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.
