Russians launch 678 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day, killing one civilian, injuring two others
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 678 attacks on 19 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of enemy shelling in Vasylivka and Polohy districts, a 70-year-old woman was killed, while a 36-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were injured.
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to him, Russian troops launched four airstrikes on the settlements of Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, and Bilohiria. A total of 416 drones of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Malokaterynivka, Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Plavni, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Malynivka, Poltavka, and Varvarivka.
Five multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strikes targeted Stepove, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Shcherbaky.
Russian artillery fired 253 times at Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Plavni, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Malynivka, and Poltavka.
Authorities received 32 reports of damaged homes and infrastructure facilities.
As reported earlier, Russian forces attacked the village of Varvarivka in Polohy district, where an FPV drone hit a car, injuring a man.
