Drone attack causes fire in five-story building in Dnipropetrovsk region

On the night of October 19-20, a fire broke out in a five-story residential building following a Russian drone attack on the Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Vladyslav Haivanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post seen by Ukrinform.

He said that during the night, the enemy struck the Mezhova and Pokrovske communities in the Synelnykove district with drones. A fire erupted in a five-story building, and several stores also caught fire. A cultural center was damaged.

Russian forces additionally attacked Nikopol and the Pokrovske community in the Nikopol district with an FPV drone and artillery. Four private houses, six outbuildings, and a power line were damaged.

No casualties or injuries were reported, Haivanenko said.

He added that Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed five Russian UAVs during the attack.
