Russians launch 618 attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day, police officer injured

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 618 strikes on 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform writes.

According to him, Russian troops launched nine airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Zaliznychne, Uspenivka, Solodke, and Poltavka; 411 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Novoukrainka, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne; three MLRS strikes were carried out on Novoyakovlivka, Novoandriivka, and Poltavka. 195 artillery strikes hit Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

Authorities received 26 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

Later, Fedorov reported that a police officer had been injured in a Russian FPV drone attack in Polohy district.

“As a result of the attack by a Russian FPV drone, a National Police officer was injured,” the statement reads.

“The injured officer has received all necessary medical care,” Fedorov added.

Earlier, in the Voznesenkivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia region, a grenade exploded in the entrance of a residential building, injuring a man with multiple shrapnel wounds, who was hospitalized.
