Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine up by 1,080 personnel over past day
Russia’s total combat losses in its war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to October 16, 2025, amount to approximately 1,127,300 personnel, including 1,080 eliminated in the past 24 hours.
That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which reported the figures on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, Russian forces have lost: 11,261 (+2) tanks, 23,384 (+9) armored fighting vehicles, 33,713 (+42) artillery systems, 1,520 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,227 (+0) air defense systems, 427 (+0) aircraft, 346 (+0) helicopters, 70,437 (+416) tactical-level UAVs, 3,859 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships / boats, one (+0) submarine, 64,468 (+139) vehicles and fuel tankers, 3,977 (+0) units of special equipment.
The General Staff noted that the data are being clarified.
As Ukrinform reported, on October 15, as of 22:00, 154 combat engagements were recorded along the front line.
