In Zaporizhzhia, number of wounded climbs to eight due to Russian night attack

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of wounded increased to eight as a result of a combined Russian attack.

This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“A child was killed and at least eight people were wounded; an investigation has been launched,” the report said.

It is noted that information about the victims is being clarified. Inspections of the scene are ongoing, and the number and type of weapons used are being determined.

The shelling also damaged critical infrastructure, apartment buildings located near the impact sites, and other city infrastructure.

The Prosecutor's Office specified that the Russian military launched a combined strike on the city using drones, aerial bombs, and missiles.

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, a criminal investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by Ukrinform, five people were previously known to have been wounded as a result of the night attack, which the enemy carried out over several hours.
