Ukraine reports 193 clashes on frontlines, 59 attacks repelled in Pokrovsk sector
On October 6, Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 193 combat clashes with Russian forces.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in an update as of 8:00 on Tuesday, October 7, according to Ukrinform.
Russian forces carried out two missile strikes and 66 airstrikes, using three missiles and 143 guided bombs. In addition, they conducted 4,523 artillery and other shelling attacks, including 98 MLRS strikes, and deployed 5,301 kamikaze drones.
Russian airstrikes targeted areas in Krasnopillia (Sumy region), Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka (Donetsk region), Zaporizhzhia, Rozumivka, Novoiakovlivka, Stepove (Zaporizhzhia region), and Kozatske (Kherson region).
Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck seven Russian clusters of personnel, three artillery positions, a UAV control post, a command center, and two other key targets.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks. The Russians carried out eight airstrikes, dropping 27 guided bombs, and fired 154 artillery rounds, including four MLRS strikes.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, 19 clashes occurred near Vovchanski Khutory, Kamianka, Stroivka, and toward Bolohivka, Kolodiazne, and Odradne.
In the Kupiansk sector, 11 Russian attacks were repelled near Kupiansk, Redkivka, and toward Pishchane, Petropavlivka, and Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces carried out five attacks near Ridkodub, Myrne, Torske, and Shandryholove.
In the Siversk sector, 20 clashes were recorded near Hryhorivka, toward Dronivka and Yampil.
In the Kramatorsk sector, two enemy attacks were repelled near Maiske and toward Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian defenders halted 23 attacks near Rusyn Yar, Katerynivka, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, and Poltavka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 59 Russian attacks near Nikanorivka, Mayak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Razine, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horiakhove, Filiia, and toward Novopavlivka and Volodymyrivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, 22 attacks were repelled near Zelenyi Hai, Yalta, Piddubne, Voskresenka, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Vorone, and Novohryhorivka. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Russians attempted eight unsuccessful breakthroughs near Poltavka.
In the Orikhiv sector, four attacks occurred near Stepove and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces made one unsuccessful attempt to advance.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive group formation were spotted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to October 7, 2025, are estimated at 1,117,360 personnel, including 1,020 in the past 24 hours.
