Russia’s war casualty toll up by 1,020 over past day
The total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to October 7, 2025, in the war against Ukraine, amount to approximately 1,117,360 personnel, including 1,020 in the past 24 hours.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
In addition, Russian forces have lost: 11,238 (+3) tanks, 23,319 (+6) armored combat vehicles, 33,493 (+29) artillery systems, 1,516 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 1,224 (+1) air defense systems, 427 (+0) aircraft, 346 (+0) helicopters, 67,564 (+338) operational-tactical UAVs, 3,841 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) warships/boats, one (+0) submarine, 63,575 (+79) vehicles and tankers, 3,973 (+2) units of special equipment.
The data are being updated.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, in September, the intensity of fighting on the frontlines remained high, with a total of 5,356 combat engagements recorded during the month.
