Russian forces shell Nikopol district several times today using artillery and drone

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a business facility in the Dnipro district was damaged as a result of an overnight strike, while during the day, the enemy shelled the Nikopol area.

This was reported on Telegram by Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, according to Ukrinform.

“As of 18:30, the security situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense. Throughout the day, the occupiers shelled Nikopol multiple times, using artillery and launching a drone strike,” the statement reads.

The attacks targeted the district center, as well as the Marhanets and Pokrovske communities. No casualties were reported.

Other communities in the region experienced no shelling during the day.

Updated information confirms that a business facility in the Dnipro district was damaged during the overnight drone attack.

The Regional Military Administration also reported damage to a local enterprise caused by Russian UAVs.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on October 4, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring a 71-year-old woman and damaging private homes, power lines, and a gas pipeline.
