Russia pounds Zaporizhzhia region with nearly 600 strikes in 24 hours
In the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 596 strikes on 17 settlements across Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian forces carried out nine airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Hryhorivka, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Novouspenivka, Malynivka, and Poltavka. A total of 364 UAVs of various types (mainly FPV drones) attacked Novomykolaivka, Malokaterynivka, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Three MLRS strikes targeted Bilohiria and Poltavka. In addition, 220 artillery strikes hit Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne," the statement said.
Authorities received 80 reports of damage to housing, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Earlier, it was reported that three people were injured in enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia district.
