Civilians injured as Russia strikes communities in Dnipropetrovsk region

On Friday, October 3, Russian forces launched drone and artillery strikes on Nikopol and Synelnykove districts in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring four people.

According to Ukrinform, Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.

In Synelnykove district, Russian drones targeted Mezhova community. Four men suffered blast and shrapnel injuries. A private house and dry grass caught fire, while a household building, garage, and two motorcycles were damaged.

In Nikopol district, Russian troops shelled Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovske, and Chervonohryhorivka communities with heavy artillery and FPV drones. No casualties were reported there, but two private houses, four outbuildings, solar panels, and a power line were damaged. Inspections of the affected areas are ongoing.

Earlier, three cars were confirmed damaged in the city of Dnipro during overnight drone attacks that also caused fires.
