At least 45 buildings damaged in Saltivka district of Kharkiv as result of night air strikes
In Kharkiv, at least 45 buildings in Saltivka were damaged as a result of Russian air strikes on the night of October 1. Utility workers have already repaired more than half of the broken windows.
This was reported by the Kharkiv City Council on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The most damage was recorded in the Saltivka district, where at least 45 buildings were damaged. Utility services have eliminated most of the consequences of the Russian aggressor's night attack,” the post says.
According to the Department of Housing and Utilities, as of 9:00 a.m., utility workers had closed more than 50% of the broken windows.
"In total, 293 windows and glazing on 44 balconies, as well as seven roofs and one door, were damaged as a result of the attack. Utility companies continue to work in an enhanced mode to quickly eliminate the consequences of the shelling. In particular, employees of the Shliakhrembud utility company are cleaning up broken glass, large debris, and tidying up the area," the city council said.
As reported, six people were injured in Kharkiv on the night of October 1 during Russian airstrikes, including a police officer.
