Russian drone strike kills civilian in Kharkiv region

On September 30, a civilian man was killed in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region following a Russian drone strike.

According to Ukrinform, the Kharkiv Regional Police Communications Department reported this on Telegram.

“Yesterday, Russian forces struck the village of Tsyrkuny in the Kharkiv district with a guided aerial bomb. One house was completely destroyed, neighboring homes were damaged, and a fire broke out. A civilian man was killed in the Kupiansk district as a result of an FPV drone strike,” the statement reads.

Russian forces also targeted Kharkiv city and the Chuhuiv district, using guided aerial bombs (KABs), missiles, and various types of drones against the civilian population, police noted.

Updated data from the department indicates that five people were injured in Kharkiv due to airstrikes, and three women suffered acute stress reactions.

As previously reported, among those injured in the overnight Russian airstrikes on October 1 in Kharkiv was a police officer. A large fire broke out at a local market.
