Russian drone hits car in Sumy region: one civilian killed, another injured

In a village in Znob-Novhorodske community of Sumy region, a Russian drone struck a car, killing a 59-year-old man. Another civilian was injured.

This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy attacked a civilian vehicle in a village in Znob-Novhorodske community. The Russian drone hit the car’s windshield directly. Unfortunately, a 59-year-old man died as a result of the strike. Our sincere condolences to his family,” Hryhorov wrote.

According to him, another man was injured. He was taken to a hospital, where medical personnel are providing care.

As previously reported, two civilians were injured in Sumy region’s Seredyna-Buda community as a result of attacks with NAR aviation rockets.
