One man killed and five wounded in Kharkiv region after Russian shelling over past 24 hours

In the Kharkiv region, one man was killed and five people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling during the day, while another person was injured by an unknown explosive device.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to Ukrinform.

“Over the past day, seven settlements in the Kharkiv region have been hit by enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and five were injured,” the post says.

A 47-year-old man was killed in the village of Borova, and a 52-year-old and a 60-year-old man were injured; a 72-year-old man was injured in the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi in the Kupiansk community; a 37-year-old and a 35-year-old man were injured in the village of Novomykolaivka in the Shevchenkivskyi community.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, in Novomykolaivka, people were injured as a result of a strike by a UAV, the type of which is being determined, on a car.

In addition, a 45-year-old woman was injured as a result of the explosion of an unknown object in Kupiansk.

“A 62-year-old man who was wounded as a result of shelling in the village of Hlushevka, Kurylivska community, Kupiansk district, on September 19, also sought medical attention,” Syniehubov emphasized.

According to him, the enemy used guided bomb, Heranium-2, and FPV drones to strike the Kharkiv region.

"In the Kupiansk district, an apartment building (in the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi) and a private house (Velykyi Burluk village), in the Izium district - a car (Borova village); in the Chuhuiv district - a lyceum (Pilna village)," Syniehubov said.

As reported, three settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes during the day on September 20, causing damage to homes, property, and infrastructure.
