Night attack on Zaporizhzhia: Russians launch ten strikes with KAB guided bombs, three people killed
In the morning, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs; at least 10 strikes were recorded in three areas of the city.
This was reported on television by the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, according to Ukrinform.
"For 40 minutes, the enemy shelled the territory of the city of Zaporizhzhia. Seven aircraft were involved in the shelling. Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, not all of the guided bombs reached the city, but at least 10 strikes were carried out," he said.
According to Fedorov, the enemy targeted three areas of the city. In the Komunarskyi district, a parking lot was hit. This is the second time the enemy has targeted it. About five civilian vehicles were burned.
On Naberezhna Highway, there were strikes near shopping centers and critical infrastructure. Traffic will likely be restricted here for some time.
The enemy also struck residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
According to Fedorov, three people are known to have been killed and four wounded. Among the wounded is one person who is in extremely severe condition.
Earlier, it was reported that civilian infrastructure and industrial facilities had been damaged in Zaporizhzhia.
