One person killed and medical workers wounded in Russian attacks in Chernihiv region

One person was killed and eight wounded, including three medical workers, in enemy attacks in the Chernihiv region over the past 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, on Telegram.

It is noted that a 62-year-old resident was killed in a drone attack in the Nizhyn district. A residential building was damaged. A fire broke out.

"In the evening, Russian drones struck the Chernihiv district. Three civilians who were traveling in a car—the driver and two passengers—were injured. Emergency workers responded to the call, but there was a second strike. Three medical workers were also injured. All six are in the hospital. Cars were damaged," the report said.

In addition, two civilian men, aged 56 and 62, were injured in a strike on the border village of the Semenivka community.

Yesterday, the enemy shelled 20 settlements in the Chernihiv region, with 42 strikes.
