Shepherd killed by mine explosion in Kherson region
An elderly man who was grazing cattle was killed by a mine explosion near the village of Odradokamianka in the Kherson region.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“According to the investigation, on September 19, at about 7:00 a.m., a 69-year-old resident was killed by an explosive device near the village of Odradokamianka. The man was grazing cattle and died on the spot as a result of the explosion,” the Prosecutor's Office said.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported, a 51-year-old man was blown up by an anti-infantry high-explosive mine (PFM-1 or Flower Petal Mine) in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.
