In the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Ukrainian defenders are carrying out counter-sabotage operations, blocking and eliminating Russian invaders in forests, private residential areas, and on the outskirts.

The 10th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces reported this on Telegram, releasing a video with the city’s defenders, Ukrinform reports.

The servicemen note that the situation in this sector remains tense, as Kupiansk is a strategic target for the enemy.

“Occupiers have been massing forces near Radkivka and Holubivka; the gas pipeline has been damaged and flooded. Attempts to cross the Oskil River by boat — most destroyed by artillery, mortars, and FPV drones,” the Armed Forces stated.

According to the report, the enemy operates in small infantry groups. Russian troops often move in civilian clothing, which constitutes yet another war crime.

Captured invaders admit that their units lack any clear battle order.

“Despite propaganda and ‘colored maps,’ what the enemy calls ‘controlled territory’ is in fact a combat zone where Ukrainian assault groups are active. The fighting is dynamic — it is premature to claim full control,” the Armed Forces emphasized.

Earlier, reports circulated online alleging that Russian forces had taken parts of the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, along with other supposed “successes” in this sector.
