Civilian infrastructure damaged as Russia attacks Sumy region

In the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked 23 settlements in Sumy region, damaging a civilian infrastructure facility.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.

The heaviest strikes were recorded in Sumy and Shostka districts.

The Russians launched about 40 strikes with guided aerial bombs and more than 10 strikes with unguided rockets, and carried out 10 grenade drops from drones.

The enemy also attacked Sumy region with FPV drones and other UAVs.

In Sumy community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Russian offensive operation on Sumy had failed thanks to Ukraine’s Defense Forces, with the Russian grouping in the Sumy direction losing its offensive capabilities.
