Drone attack: debris damaged trolleybus network in capital
During the attack by enemy drones in Kyiv, debris was reported to have fallen in several locations.
This was announced by Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“According to preliminary information, the UAV fell and exploded in the Solomianskyi district,” he wrote.
Emergency services are heading to the scene, the mayor added.
Shortly thereafter, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that debris from the UAV had been recorded in several locations: “In particular, on the roadway in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The trolleybus network has been damaged.”
According to preliminary data, he said, there were no casualties.
“We are currently assessing the extent of possible damage throughout the city,” the official added.
As reported, the Air Defense Forces neutralized 48 of the 75 drones that Russian troops used to attack Ukraine on the evening of September 17.
