Russian troops strike Slatyne in Kharkiv region, killing one man

A man was killed as a result of a Russian strike on the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy struck the Derhachi community. The type of weapon is being identified. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in a residential area in the village of Slatyne. At this time, there is no information about casualties,” the post says.

Units of the State Emergency Service are working at the site, Syniehubov added.

Later, the Head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, Viacheslav Zadorenko, reported that a man had been killed as a result of the strike.

"According to preliminary data, the Russians struck Slatyne at around 12:50 p.m. with multiple launch rocket systems. A resident was killed as a result of the strike. Fires broke out in private homes in various areas of the village," the post said.

According to Ukrinform, Russian servicemen used an FPV drone against a resident of Kozacha Lopan village in the Derhachi community of the Kharkiv district on the morning of September 3. The man died at the scene.
