Russia's war casualty toll in Ukraine climbs by 910 over past day

Russia suffered approximately 1,096,430 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and September 16, 2025, with 910 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine's defense forces have destroyed 11,184 Russian tanks, 23,274 (+5) armored fighting vehicles, 32,810 (+26) artillery systems, 1,490 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 1,217 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,718 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 422 warplanes, 341 helicopters, 59,719 (+310) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 61,770 (+72) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,965 pieces of special equipment.
