One killed, nine injured in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

One person was killed and nine others, including a child, were injured in a Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"One person was killed and seven others injured, including a child," the statement read.

Emergency crews are working at the impact sites. The wounded are receiving the necessary medical care, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

Later, the regional military administration updated the casualty figures following the attack on Zaporizhzhia.

"The number of people injured in the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia has risen to nine. Doctors assess the condition of one victim as serious. The injured child — a four-year-old girl — is also under medical supervision, but her life is not in danger," Fedorov said.
