Power line damaged in Cherkasy region by Russian night attack

In the Cherkasy region, air defense forces destroyed two Russian missiles and about ten drones overnight. The enemy attack caused destruction and damaged a power line in the Zvenyhorod district.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, on Telegram.

“Two Russian missiles and a dozen UAVs were destroyed in the sky over Cherkasy region. There were no injuries. However, there are consequences for the infrastructure,” he said.

According to him, in the Zolotonosha district, a barn was partially destroyed by the blast wave, and two cows were killed. The fire was extinguished. Windows and roofs were also damaged, preliminarily in five houses and a car.

In the Zvenyhorod district, windows were broken in five buildings (residential and farm buildings).

In addition, a power line was hit. Repair crews are already working.

The area is still being surveyed, Taburets noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked the Lutsk community with strike drones on the night and morning of September 10.
