SBU destroyed over 2,000 Russian tanks since start of invasion
Since the beginning of the invasion, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have destroyed 2,100 Russian tanks.
According to Ukrinform, the SBU reported this on Facebook.
“SBU warriors have taken out 2,100 Russian tanks. That’s how many enemy vehicles our personnel have struck since the start of the full-scale invasion. In fact, every fifth tank eliminated by Ukraine’s security and defense forces during this time is the result of the SBU’s work,” the statement reads.
The SBU noted that its combat units continue to operate tirelessly on the most intense front lines, destroying enemy equipment with sudden and precise strikes.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, as of September 8, the Russian army has lost 11,168 tanks and 23,258 armored combat vehicles in its war against Ukraine.
