Two children injured in ammunition explosion in Kharkiv region

In the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, two boys born in 2013 were injured as a result of an explosion of ammunition, presumably a grenade.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region on Facebook.

“Today, in the Kupiansk district, on the territory of the Velykoburlutsk community, near the village of Zelenyi Hai, an explosive device, presumably a grenade, exploded. As a result of the incident, two boys born in 2013 were injured,” the report said.

The children suffered injuries to their hands and heads. Doctors assess their condition as serious.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 5, a 13-year-old boy was injured by a Russian “petal” mine in the Dnipro district of Kherson. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.
