Number of attacks in Sumy region decreases, enemy deploys troops to other areas

State Border Guard Service units defending the country within the Sumy region note a decrease in the number of enemy attacks and confirm their withdrawal for transfer to other areas of the front.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated on television by State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko.

"Our units in the Sumy region, specifically in the sectors of the Khotin and Yunakivka communities where the enemy is still conducting active operations with small infantry groups, have observed a significant decrease in the number of enemy attacks. This decline is notable compared to the earlier period when the enemy was attempting to advance deeper into our territory in this area," Demchenko said.

According to him, the enemy is gradually withdrawing its accumulated forces from this sector and redeploying them, in particular, to the south.
