Partial power outages in Sumy and surrounding area after Russian shelling
Parts of Sumy and settlements in Sumy district have been cut off from electricity supply due to Russian strikes on critical infrastructure.
This was reported on Telegram by the press service of Sumyoblenergo (regional energy supplying company), according to Ukrinform.
“As a result of Russian strikes on critical infrastructure, the regional center and parts of Sumy district have been partially cut off from electricity,” the statement reads.
Sumyoblenergo noted that the electricity outage is temporary and repair work to restore power is underway.
As reported, over the past day, Russian forces carried out 133 attacks on 41 settlements in Sumy region, injuring civilians.
