Russian drone attack on Kharkiv: seven killed, 20 injured

The death toll from this morning’s Russian drone strike on Kharkiv has risen to seven, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Terekhov wrote this in a post on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“Another victim’s body has just been recovered at the site of the morning strike. Six peaceful Kharkiv residents have already been killed by the occupiers,” he stated.

Later, the mayor confirmed that the body of another victim had been pulled from the rubble following the morning’s terrorist shelling, bringing the total number of fatalities to seven.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian UAVs attacked Kharkiv early on August 18, sparking fires in the city’s Industrialnyi district. Initial reports indicated five dead and 20 injured.
