Kyiv mayor clarifies consequences of drone attack on Kyiv: five victims, including child
As a result of the attack by Russian drones in the Darnytskyi District of the capital, five residents of a high-rise building were injured, including a child.
This information was announced by Mayor Vitaliy Klytschko on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Five people were injured in the Darnytskyi District as a result of the enemy attack. One of them is a child. Four of the victims were hospitalized,” he wrote.
According to the mayor, all of the victims are residents of a high-rise block of flats, where the blast wave broke the windows on the sixth to eleventh floors of one of the entrances.
All relevant services are working on site, Klytschko added.
As specified by the Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, among the victims is a 3-year-old child with shrapnel wounds. “Four people were hospitalized. Cars next to the residential building were also damaged, but there was no fire,” he added.
Earlier, Tkachenko reported eight victims in the Darnytskyi District.
