Russian forces attack critical infrastructure in Sumy region

The Russian army targeted critical infrastructure in the Sumy region using drones, leaving part of the Sumy community without electricity.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy once again attacked critical infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region. As a result of the drone attack, part of the Sumy community has been left without power," the statement reads.

Hryhorov added that energy crews are already working to restore electricity.

On July 27, Russian troops carried out a drone strike on the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy, damaging residential and non-residential buildings.
