Four people were injured and residential buildings were damaged in Chernihiv as a result of a combined Russian attack overnight. Rescue teams are continuing to search the rubble, where more people may be trapped.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Last night, the Russians launched a combined strike on Chernihiv. Preliminary data indicate the use of Geran-2 type drones and ballistic weapons — a cruise missile and an Iskander-M. A total of 14 explosions were recorded," Chaus said.

According to him, the strike targeted a residential area, damaging both apartment buildings and private homes. Four civilians were injured — three received medical assistance at the scene, while one man was hospitalized in moderate condition.
