Russians shell Kherson, one woman killed
A Russian artillery strike on Kherson’s Central district has left a 62-year-old woman dead and a 47-year-old man injured.
This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, according to Ukrinform.
“Russian artillery targeted the Central district of Kherson. As a result of the shelling, a 62-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life. My condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased,” the message states.
According to the regional administration, the 47-year-old man who was injured during the shelling sustained a blast injury and a leg wound.
“Around 12:30, Russian forces shelled the Central district of Kherson with artillery. A 47-year-old man was wounded in the attack, suffering a blast injury and a leg wound,” officials reported.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces also attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a drone, one person was injured in that assault.
