Ukraine hits 15 Russian air defense systems in Crimea over past two moths

Ukrainian strikes have hit 15 Russian air defense systems in the temporarily occupied Crimea over the past two months.

That’s according to the Armed Forces’ StratCom Department, Ukrinform reports.

"The total number of separately affected air defense systems stands at about 15. In particular, air defense divisions of the S-300, S-350, and S-400 modifications were targeted," the report reads.

Dozens of launchers, more than 15 radars, and over 10 control points were destroyed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) think tank, the Ukrainian military is trying to weaken Russian air defense capabilities ahead of receiving critical F-16 fighter jets from Western partners.
