Russian sabotage group kills brother and sister in Sumy region

Early on January 27, a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group shot dead a brother and sister from the Khotin community in Ukraine's northeastern Sumy region.

The region's military administration said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"This morning, an enemy reconnaissance and sabotage group brutally and cynically shot dead a brother and sister from the Khotin community," the post reads.

According to the military administration, the house of the deceased is located in the village of Andriivka, located in a five-kilometer border area.

Volodymyr Artiukh, head of the region's military administration, called on the residents of the border area to evacuate.

Three enemy shelling attacks were recorded in the Sumy region on the night of January 26 to 27. The Bilopillia and Velyka Pysarivka communities were hit by grenade launchers and mortars.
