Enemy shells Kupiansk at night, damaging houses

In the Kharkiv region, 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire over the past day and at night on January 27. At night, the enemy attacked Kupiansk.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

"About 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Veterynarne, in the Kharkiv district; Nesterne, in the Chuhuiv district; Komisarove, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove, in the Kupiansk district," wrote Syniehubov.

According to him, yesterday, on January 26, at 10:40 a.m., the occupants fired at Kupiansk with 152-mm artillery. A police officer was injured. The victim was hospitalized, and his condition is moderate. A private house was damaged.

The enemy fired at Kurylivka village in the Kupiansk district and Vovchansk city in the Chuhuiv district with multiple rocket launchers.

Today, from 00:00 to 00:25, the enemy attacked Kupiansk several times, and at about 00:20 the occupants fired at Synelnykove village in the Chuhuiv district.

The shelling damaged private houses and a garage.

The official also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks near Tabaivka in the Kupiansk district.
