Four killed in Russia's Jan 23 attacks on Kherson region

The Russian military launched 101 shelling attacks on Ukraine's southern Kherson region on January 23, killing four people.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 101 shelling attacks and fired 524 shells from mortars, artillery, MLRS, tanks, UAVs, and aircraft. The enemy fired 26 shells at the city of Kherson," Prokudin wrote.

According to him, the Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's towns and villages, a kindergarten and a plant in Beryslav.

Four people were killed and six injured due to Russian aggression.

Late on January 23, Russian troops dropped six guided bombs on settlements in the Kherson region, killing a woman.
