Kharkiv strike update: 6 dead, 57 injured, including 8 children

The number of those affected by this morning’s missile attack on Kharkiv, launched by Russian invasion forces, has increased to 63, of which five people died.

The latest discovered victim was identified as a 21-year-old female, whose body is being retrieved from under the rubble of a destroyed apartment block according to the chief of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

An earlier report by the Ministry of Internal Affairs said the number of those injured was up to 57, including eight children.

Also, three police officers were injured while clearing the rubble at one of the impact sites.

As reported, at around 7:15 on Tuesday, at least eight explosions rang out in Kharkiv. A section of a five-storey apartment block was completely destroyed. Also, explosions were recorded at around 4:00. A residential building and other civil infrastructure sustained damage, according to some reports.
