Five people were killed and at least 20 injured as a result of the morning Russian missile attack on Ukraine as of 08:45 on Tuesday, January 23.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko in his Telegram.

According to him, as a result of the missile strike, several fires broke out in the capital - in the Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi and Pecherskyi districts. One person was killed and there are injured. Two high-rise buildings, a private building, and cars were damaged.

In the Kyiv region, rescuers are working in the Bucha district. Two multi-storey buildings, a private house, outbuildings and cars were damaged. Three people were injured.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one person was killed and one was injured in the attack on Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In Kharkiv, the attackers hit two multi-story buildings. According to preliminary reports, three people were killed and about 30 others were injured.

Rescuers are inspecting the damaged buildings and dismantling the rubble. Psychologists are working at the scene. Police investigators are carefully recording these crimes, Klymenko emphasized.
