Enemy fires 24 times at Sumy region's border in one day

On Sunday, Russian troops fired 24 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 96 explosions were recorded. 

This was reported on Facebook by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reported.

"During the day, Russians fired 24 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 96 explosions were recorded. The Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopillya, Krasnopil, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne, and Svesa communities were shelled," the statement said.

The Esman community: the enemy fired from mortars ( 7 explosions) and small arms.

The Velyka Pysarivka community: UAVs dropped VOG explosive devices ( three explosions), grenade attack with SPG-9 (seven explosions), and mortar attack (eight explosions).

The Krasnopil community: Six mines were dropped by Russians on the territory of the community. In addition, a UAV dropped VOG and RGO ammunition (16 explosions).

The Svesa community: mortar shelling was recorded ( three explosions).

The Bilopillya community: the enemy attacked with artillery ( 7 explosions) and mortars (17 explosions). There was also a shelling by FPV kamikaze drones ( two explosions).

The Khotyn community: mortar shelling was carried out (five explosions).

The Yunakivka community: UAVs dropped VOG explosive devices (one explosion), mortar shelling ( nine explosions), and FPV shelling by a kamikaze drone (one explosion).

The Shalyhyne community: there was a mortar attack ("three explosions").

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his evening video speech that in one day, Russians had shelled more than 100 Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages in nine regions.
