Man rescued from rubble of house in Pokrovsk

A person was rescued from the rubble of a house in the Donetsk region’s Pokrovsk, which came under enemy fire on January 6. Two more people may still be trapped under the rubble.

Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Pokrovsk district came under numerous attacks this evening. A search operation is underway in Pokrovsk - one person was rescued from the rubble of a house. Two more people are likely still under the ruins," the region’s head wrote.

He noted that six private houses in Zvirove of the Pokrovsk community were damaged.

In addition, in Rivne village of the Myrnohrad community, Russians hit a house with a family of six people. Information is being updated.

As reported, at least six people were wounded in the enemy shelling of the Donetsk region’s Pokrovsk on January 6. There are still civilians under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing.
