More than 150 residents killed in Avdiivka since full-scale war began

Since February 24, 2022, 154 civilians have been killed in the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, while the bodies of another six remain under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Russian invaders.

Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of people under the rubble has been confirmed. We are not reporting them as dead, because their bodies have not been recovered yet. It is known that [the bodies of] six people remain under the rubble, two of them since May," said Barabash.

In total, according to his data, 154 civilians, including one child, have been killed in Avdiivka since February 24, 2022.

As reported, Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops, every day the enemy kills and injures civilians and destroys infrastructure facilities. Since October 10, 2023, Russian invaders have been constantly attacking the city of Avdiivka, attempting to capture the city.
